Day 1

Arrival Cape Town

Upon your arrival at Capetown, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Town hotel. Check in and freshen up. Spend the day at leisure. Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s West coast, on a peninsula beneath the imposing Table Mountain. The city is famous for its harbour, for its natural setting in the Cape Floristic Region and for such well known landmarks as the Table Mountain and Cape Point. It is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, reflecting its role as a major destination for immigrants and expatriates. In 1652 it was established as the first permanent European settlement in South Africa. The Table Mountain National Park defines the city, but there are many other gorgeous natural landscapes within the park’s extensive boundaries, such as the historic Company’s Garden, National Botanical Garden and Green Point Urban park. Robben Island the notorious prison that once held Nelson Mandela, now a museum is another landmark near Capetown as well as the V & A Water front is the major attraction in Cape Town that attracts millions of visitors. Day 2

Cape Town

Have your Breakfast at the hotel . You will then embark on a Morning City Tour of Cape Town including Table Mountain. This tour gives you the opportunity to discover the spirit of the Mother City, experience her vibrant cultures and history and enjoy botanical scenery. Highlights include: Table Mountain - weather permitting (otherwise Signal Hill) – experience the spectacular views during the cable car ride to Table Mountain. Visit the District Museum – that gives you an insight into the history of apartheid in the area, the next stop is Township of Langa – the oldest township in Capetown – townships first sprang up under apartheid as places for non whites to live, cut off from the city infrastructure. Visit Guga S’Thebe arts and cultureCentre to understand the work being done to improve the lives of the Langa community and then visit the township of Gugulethu – originally built for migrant workers from the Transkei region of the Eastern Cape. Enjoy some free time at the Victoria and Alfred Water front and have your lunch (at own expense). Enjoy Scenic coastal drive through Clifton & Sea Point, Green Market Square, Walk through the Company Gardens and enjoy the Scenic City tour passing the Houses of Parliament, the City Hall, the Castle – a bastion fort built in the 17th century, and Slave lodge – a social history museum. You will then board a ferry to ride across the Table Bay to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Island was once a prison where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of his 27 years in prison. See Mandela’s cell in the prison – roughly 7 sq ft and learn about how his life there, how he was made to dig a quarry when the officials found out he was acting as a leader during a prisoner rebellion. As you ride back you ferry you can contemplate the distance Mandela travelled from these prison gates to the Presidential office. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3

Cape Town – Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope - Capetown

Have an early breakfast at the hotel . You will today for a full day excursion to Cape Point – Drive through Sea Point Clifton, and Camps Bay as you depart the city. Soak in the views from the Llandudno lookout point then continue to the picturesque village of Hout Bay. Follow the gorgeous coastal route through Chapman’s Peak to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The area features endemic antelope species and zebra, abundant birds, fynbos vegetation, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans. Experience the vast expanse of the sea and capture the spectacular scenes in your camera. You will then head to the historic Simon Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulder’s beach – which is home to the African Penguins. View the penguins in their natural habitat from the wooden walkways. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 4

Cape Town - Johannesburg - Suncity

Morning after Breakast, Board on Flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at the airport you will transfer to Sun City – the best holiday resort in South Africa. Home to the Valley of the Waves and sprawled along the border of the Pilanesburg National park, Sun City Resort enjoys the fine distinction of being the only surf and safari destination within a two hours drive from Johannesburg. Rest of the day is free to explore this magnificent resort.

Day 5


Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure to explore the resort including the Valley of Waves – a legendary hub for all kinds of water fun offering family friendly water activities that appeal to adventurers of all ages. There is something for everyone in this iconic water park. The main attraction is the Roaring Lagoon – a 6500 sq metre wave pool with hydraulic mechanisms that generate waves of nearly 2 metres high. Day 6

Suncity - Kruger National Park

Today post your breakfast you will transfer to Johannesburg Airport. To connect your flight to Kruger. On arrival transfer to the Lodge. Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa which covers an area of 19,485 square kms. The park was initially created to control hunting and protect the diminishing number of animals in the park. The natives that inhabited the park for decades were removed in the 1960s to create the Game Reserve. There are many varieties of flora and fauna in the park like Thorn trees, red bush- willow veld, knob thorn and marula veld, and many others. All the Big Five game animals are found in the Kruger Park including Lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals make their home here, so do diverse bird species like vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape. Rest of the day is free to explore the area around you and the Park to spot some wild elephants and other animals. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 7

Kruger National Park

Morning game drive on 4x4 open safari vehicles – It has been said that even an hour in this paradise is a rewarding experience in the Kruger National Park, Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuary. Game viewing from open safari vehicles is the ultimate safari experience. Marvel at Kruger’s diverse bird life in the early morning hours. Experience South Africa’s natural beauty and capture the boastful wildlife photographs and have close encounter with the animals in their natural habitat. Breakfast & Lunch at the lodge. Day 8

Kruger - Johannesburg

Morning game drive on 4x4 open safari vehicles. Enjoy the game drive and look out for the Big 5. After your lunch, you will transferred from Kruger to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg you will check into your hotel. Johannesburg South Africa’s biggest city, began as a 19th century gold mining settlement. Its sprawling Soweto township was home to Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. The city is commonly interpreted as the modern day El Dorado dur to the extremely large gold deposit found along Witwatersand range of hills. Soweto is now a part of Johannesburg, separated as a residential area for blacks who were not permitted in the area of Johannesburg proper. The city has many museums mostly offering deep insight into South Africa’s troubled past such as the Apartheid Museum. Delve in and experience the buzz of a city undergoing an incredible rebirth. Day 9


Enjoy your breakfast this morning. You will then proceed on Half day gold reef city tour - which is an amusement park located on an gold mine which closed in 1971. The park is themed around the Gold rush that started in 1886. The staff wear the costumes of the 1880s and the building in the park are designed to mimic the same period. There is a museum dedicated to gold mining on the grounds where it is possible to see a gold containing ore vein and see how real gold is poured into barrels. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10


This morning after your breakfast you will set out on a guided tour of Soweto from Johannesburg. Enjoy a personal experience of how vibrant and lively Soweto was from the local guide raised in this township. Pass one of the World Cup Stadiums along the way and then arrive the Diepkloof area full of vendors selling all kinds of items. Travel along Vilakazi Street in Orlando West, a street on which the homes of two Nobel Peace Prize Winners are located – Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Learn about the 1976 Soweto Uprising and the death of a young boy named Hector Pieterson. Continue through Soweto till you reach a shanty town where you can meet some of the locals. Have your lunch (at your own expense), and then visit the famous Apartheid Museum before returning to Johannesburg. See Constitution Hill, where Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi were once imprisoned as well as the court. See the longest Bridge in South Africa, the Nelson Mandela Bridge and visit the area Newtown to stroll along the Jazz Walk of Fame in Mary Fitzgerald Square. Your tour will end with an elevator ride to the top of the Carlton Centre, the tallest building in the continent. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel. /p>

Depart Johannesburg

Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to connect your flight for onward journey or back home with fond memories of this South African sojourn.
