Description

If you are desirous to go for an exciting Wildlife adventure while on your tour of North India you can decide on Corbett Park, which is the most sought after destination not just because of the thrill it offers, but also gives you a chance to come close to the region’s wild life that roam freely in their natural surroundings. Day 1

Arrive Delhi

You will be met on arrival and thereafter transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

In Delhi

After your breakfast you will be taken for a sight seeing tour of both Old Delhi and New Delhi which includes the ancient monuments, narrow streets and the bustling bazaars. Drive past the Red Fort- the magical fort built in red sandstone, the Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in Asia, both built by Shah Jahan, the mughal emperor and have a peek into the Chandni Chowlk Bazars. Then proceed to Rajghat – a memori of the Father of the Nation – Mahatma Gandhi , built in black marble platform on the banks of the Yamuna River, where his mortal remains were cremated. Then onto New Delhi driving past the Government Buildings of the British era designed by Lutyens, including the India Gate, the Parliament House and the President’s Palace. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb and finally the Qutub Minar. Return to Hotel and Overnight.

Day 3

Delhi Nainital

Nainital is a famous hill station known for its captivating beauty and ancient temples . The tranquility of the place makes it a perfect holiday destination for tourists across the world. This day after breakfast proceed to Nainital (6 hours) Enroute visit Gajraula which is a well known tourist destination like Najibudaulah’s Fort, Mandawar ka Mahal and the Raza Library. Arrive Nainital and check into your Hotel. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the place and relax yourself in the calm atmosphere. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

In Nainital

After your breakfast begin the sightseeing tour with a visit to the Cheena Peak which offers a breathtaking view of the majestic Himalayas. Spend rest of the day visiting Bhimtal and Sattal. Bhimtal is a scenic lake side destination which offers a soothing environment to all the visitors. Sattal is a place where seven lakes meet. The place is surrounded by beautiful greenery. Return to your hotel and overnight.

Day 5

Nainital – Corbett National Park

After your breakfast drive to Corbett National Park (60 kms 1.5 hours) which covers an area of 521 sq. kms. On arrival at the Park Check into your hotel. The park houses more than 500 species of animals, repltiles and birds. It is a true rendezvous with nature for those who love it. Watch the serene beauty of the park and later Enjoy the Jeep safari in the evening and enjoy your thrilling encounter with the animals. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Corbett National Park

Today you will be given two safaris….one in the early morning and one later in the evening. After your early morning excursion you will return to the hotel and have your breakfast. Thereafter the day is free for independent activities. In the evening you will again proceed by jeep for another round of viewing. The animals sighted are Leopard, Jungle Cat, Wild Dog, Gaur (Indian Bison), Sloth Bear, Otter, Sambhar, Hog Deer, Spotted Deer and Barking deer, elephants …..and not to miss looking out for the Royal Bengal Tiger,

Day 7

In Corbett National Park

The day is free to explore the surroundings on your own. You may also choose to take a few more jeep safaris to discover the Ramganga reservoir and its surroundings and enjoy the fishing and the angling in the Ramganga river. You will see the Marsh Crocodile, Fish eating Gharial, and Magarmachha here. Also watch the incredible bird species like the Kingfisher, Great Hornbill, Great Staty Woodpecker, etc. Visit the Bamboo forest which is the habitat of the Wild elephant.

Day 8

Corbett – Delhi

After your breakfast leave Corbett Park for Delhi(250 kms, 6 hours) and arrive Delhi. Check into your hotel and Later you may spend some time doing your last minute shopping. Overnight at the hotel,

Day 9

Depart Delhi

After your breakfast check out and you will be transferred to the airport to connect flight back home or any other onward destination.
