Detailed Itinerary:

In the early you will be picked up from your hotel lobby and drive you to the ghats of the River Ganges for a sunrise cruise. Observe the rituals performed by the devotees to gather in thousands everyday from across India and other countries. Return to your hotel for breakfast (at your own cost).

At 8.15 am will proceed on an excursion to Sarnath, one of the most important centres for Buddhists. This is the place where Lord Buddha pronounced his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Sarnath has numerous beautiful temples and an archaeological museum with rare Buddhist artifacts. Return to Varanasi and visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, DashashwedhGhat, Ramnagar Fort, Tulsi Manas Temple, Mani KarnikaGhat. Then you will be taken for lunch at one of the city’s popular restaurants.

Afternoon tour will commence with Benaras Hindu University, one of the best institutes for Sanskrit learning. This will be followed with a walking tour of the vibrant bazaars of Varanasi known for silk weaving and silk products. Thereafter proceed to witness the mesmerizing aarti ritual being performed by the priests. After the aarti you will drive to a classical dance centre to experience a dance show.
