Visit The temples that are made of terracotta tiles with the scenes from the epic Mahabharata. Once you arrive at Kakdwip you will enjoy the boat ride to reach to the other side of the river and this is the place known as Kachuberia. The journey will take you not less than 30 to 40 minutes and a travel of another 40 mins will take you straight to Gangasagar.
If you are visiting during Makar Sankranti, first take the holy dip at the confluence of the River. Then Visit the Kapil Muni Ashram and pay homage to the Hindu sage Kapil Muni. Later return to Kakdwip where your vehicle will be parked and transfer to your hotel in Kolkata
